Pepa Salazar — R+D SS26

This project started with Pepa Salazar's vision: her designs translated into anime scenes and hentai-inspired figurines — stylised objects and characters that sit between fragments of cult animation and toy collection.

Pepa arrived with a clear universe in mind, and our role was to help bring it to life. We worked alongside her on look development, shaping the visual texture of the campaign through AI image and video generation — calibrating the figurine aesthetic, the lighting, the surface quality of plastic and resin, the movement and atmosphere of the animated scenes, the way each garment had to read as both clothing and character. Every decision came back to her direction; we were there to extend it, sharpen it, and translate it into the medium.

The result is a language that feels entirely Pepa Salazar: her clothes reimagined as collectible figures and animated characters, her world rendered with the precision and strangeness of japanese culture.
