Old Spice — Te Chilla La Ardilla

"Te Chilla La Ardilla" is Old Spice's Latin American campaign, built by Wieden+Kennedy Argentina around a piece of Mexican slang for smelly armpits: the squirrel is screaming at you. The campaign takes it literally, with an actual squirrel, loud and shrieking, turning up at the worst possible moment. Tomás Peña directed this film for the platform, produced by Oriental Films in Uruguay, with Muscle Beach on board as AI production company.

The AI came in after the cameras. Once the shoot was wrapped and the edit locked, we ran a full beauty pass across the entire commercial: every shot treated with generative tools to elevate the image and raise the overall production value of the piece. The cut didn't move. The finish did.
